Al-Nowar Palestinian Organization for Rural Agricultural Development is a non-profit organization, established in Rafah Governorate – southern Gaza Strip – in 2014, dedicated to serving and developing the rural agricultural sector in marginalized and impoverished areas.
Focusing on sustainability across all institutional projects.
Promoting community participation in planning and implementation.
Basing priorities on data-driven research and studies.
Encouraging innovation in agriculture, water, and livestock sectors.
Building strategic alliances with supporting organizations locally and internationally.
Supporting and empowering farmers through training and capacity building.
Developing rural livestock production (cattle, poultry, sheep .).

It is with great pride that I reflect on the achievements of Al-Nowar Palestinian Organization for Rural Agricultural Development since its establishment in Rafah in 2014, inspired by a deep belief in the necessity of uplifting the rural agricultural sector in Gaza and strengthening the resilience of farmers facing complex economic, political, environmental, and social challenges.
